With experience as a professional tradesman for 29 years, Robin has the ability to provide up to building code electric and plumbing as well as bringing in other tradesmen. A hands-on project manager, hiring Renovation Provence means that you’ll be dealing with one tradesman for the entirety of your renovation in Provence. With an eye for design, Renovation Provence seeks to create unique spaces combining traditional French techniques and modern comfort.
Local Knowledge
Robin can help with designing your home to fit the style that you’d like using traditional French techniques. He often offers his clients tips on the best local stores for antique and modern furniture, reclaimed materials and professional suppliers.
If desired, Robin can accompany you for a day shopping to these various stores/warehouses to help with translation and designing your home according to your budget. If your home is registered as a historic monument, we can help with the paperwork with the local town hall for major renovation works.

Robin has been self-employed for 25 years as a plumbing and heating engineer.
Always following regulation and safety rules, Robin specializes in historic European buildings. Renovation Provence is a French registered company that is fully insured and TVA (VAT) registered. This allows us to supply our own materials with trade discounts.

Property Buying Consultation
Arrange for Robin to be there when you view your potential property in Provence. He can give objective and experience advice on what works may need doing. He can also go through your French DPE inspection with you, which can be really useful for first time buyers in France.
The fee is 500€ for a consult.

How Do We Get Started?
Email info about your renovation in Provence to robinwatson.j@gmail.com with pictures as well as measurements if possible. After some research, we can set up an appointment to come and see the project. We generally focus on the area within an hour in any direction from St Remy de Provence. Afterward, we’ll provide you with a non-committal quote free of charge (providing you are already the owner of your home). If you’d like, Robin can provide pre-purchase technical advice for a fee. He can go over the diagnostic report with you so that you know where you stand with your potential property.
Booking in Advance
Be aware that like all good tradesmen, Robin is booked up anywhere from 3-6 months in advance. This allows lots of groundwork/ordering of materials to be done in advance with a realistic start and completion date.
